Our Difference
Everyone can make a difference, whether it is an individual or a business, big or small. Red Wagon is proud to be part of a global community of mission-driven companies dedicated to using business as a force for good.
The B Corp Movement
The B Corp movement is on a mission to transform the global economy into a more inclusive, equitable and regenerative system. Our vision is of a world where all stakeholders, not just shareholders, are valued and prioritised. This idea of stakeholder governance ensures that the actions of a company benefit all stakeholders – customers, employees, suppliers, communities and investors.
Red Wagon’s B Corp Journey
Purpose-driven company
B Corp Certification is a demonstration that a business is meeting high standards of performance, accountability and transparency across factors including employee benefits, charitable giving, supply chain practices and environmental measures. Red Wagon has enshrined our commitment in our Constitution, thereby making a legal commitment to consider social and environment impacts in our decision making.
Rigorous B Corp certification process
B Corp Certification recognises Red Wagon has made an ongoing commitment make decisions and implement practices that consider more than just shareholder value, but the impact on our own colleagues, our clients and their employees, the environment, business and society more broadly.
The rigorous certification process involves a deep dive into how we put our values into action for social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency. We achieved the distinction of becoming an official Certified B Corporation in May 2021, and are renewing our commitment again in 2024 by undertaking the rigorous review and recertification process.
Our Social Impact
We think of our social impact holistically, encompassing how we affect clients, their workplaces and employees, our colleagues, our suppliers and our wider community. Our impact also extends to the broader HR and business community at large. We believe that the most significant way in which we contribute positively is through the impact we help our clients to have.
We see our social impacts as:
- The quality of the advice we provide to our clients, and the impact it has to their workplace
- The way in which we look after, and develop our colleagues at Red Wagon
- The integrity with which we deliver our advice
- The extent to which our business consumes resources
- The leadership we show within the wider HR community
- The education we provide
Our Planet Impact
Red Wagon has joined B Corporations from around the world in declaring a climate emergency. We are committed to collective and immediate action to halt and reverse the current climate trajectory and to build an inclusive, equitable and regenerative economic system. Businesses with under 500 Employees represent 90% of business globally, and affect the livelihoods of over 2 billion people (ref SME Climate Hub). Red Wagon has made the SME Climate Commitment to work together in the Race to Zero.
Recognising that climate change poses a threat to the economy, nature and society-at-large, our company commits to take action immediately in order to:
- Halve our greenhouse gas emissions before 2030
- Achieve net zero emissions before 2050
- Disclose our progress on a yearly basis
In doing so, we are proud to be recognised by the United Nations Race to Zero campaign, and to join governments, businesses, cities, regions, and universities around the world with the same mission.

“I started Red Wagon Workplace Solutions because I wanted to support businesses to treat their people with dignity, respect and fairness through the complex and difficult issues that occur in the work environment. I quickly realised that our impact could be greater than just the service we provided. We can have an impact in the way we conduct our business.”
